Hibike! Euphonium dates its third season with a new visual


The official site for the third season of the anime adaptation of the franchise based on the novels written by Ayano Takeda and Nikki Asada, Hibike! euphonium (sound! euphonium), revealed a new promotional visual. The press release confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for April 2024 in Japan. animation production still in charge of Kyoto Animation studios.

This third season will be set in Kumiko’s third year of high school, with our protagonist as one of the last year students of the Kitauji High School Music Band.

For his part, Ayano Takeda and Ayano Takeda began publishing the light novels through the publisher takarajimasha in December 2013, and finished it in June 2019 with a total of twelve volumes. The work was adapted to manga by Hamiwho published it between November 2014 and October 2015, with a total of three compilation volumes.

The novels inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Kyoto Animationunder the direction of Tatsuya Ishihara and scripts written by jukki hanadapremiered in April 2015. A thirteen-episode second season premiered in October 2016. The franchise also includes production on four animated films.

Synopsis for Hibike! euphonium

Kitauji High School Marching Band Club had a participation in national championships and was a well-known school, but after the manager of the club was changed, they have not been able to participate in the qualifying championship again. However, thanks to the strict guidance of the new manager, the students begin to improve their performances and gain self-confidence. While improving individually, some prioritize their studies and decide to leave the club. Finally, the long-awaited day of the competition arrives, will your effort pay off?
