Oshi no Ko would have a second season

A well-known Weibo leaker revealed that the anime adaptation of the manga written by aka akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, Oshi no KoIt will have a second season. Although it is information that many took for granted, it is a surprise that the leak came during the broadcast of the series, perhaps the confirmation will come just after the final episode in June?

While it is true that the effect of the anime adaptation has been noted with a large increase in sales of the original manga, announcing a second season so soon would mean that it was already decided from the moment the first one was decided. Let’s just hope that it’s not a rushed production and that Doga Kobo knows how to maintain a long-lasting production, something it hasn’t had in a long time.

The series has been broadcast since April 12 in Japan and is confirmed with a total of eleven episodes, while the platform HIDIVE is in charge of its distribution in the West. Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is writing it while Mengo Yokoyari (Kuzu no Honkai) is illustrating it.
