The Dandadan anime has also been leaked

Continuing with the leaks supposedly coming from a hack to Netflixthe opening sequence of the long-awaited anime adaptation of “Dandadan“, featuring the opening theme titled “Otonoke” and performed by Creepy Nuts. Remember that, as with “Ranma 1/2”, this premiere is scheduled for the period of Fall-2024 (October-December).

The “MediaTime” and “SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers)” time stamps are used in the dubbing industry to let voice actors know where to begin their line of dialogue, as time stamps also appear in scripts. This has fueled the theory that these leaks are not coming from Netflix, but from a dubbing studio that either leaked the content from within or was hacked by a third party.

In fact, it is inferred that not only the opening sequence has been leaked, but the entire first episode (or even more than one), as previously mentioned with “Ranma 1/2.” Although Netflix has not issued any statement on the matter, it is not expected to do so in the future, especially since streaming platforms prefer not to acknowledge these leaks and not to promote their distribution on the Internet.

Nonetheless, The reviews have been positive towards the opening sequence of “Dandadan”, especially since the art style and animation have convinced most people.Plus, Creepy Nuts, the band behind the song, has already starred in successful opening sequences previously, so it’s no surprise that they’d repeat the formula.
