On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima“Whisper Me a Love Song (Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau),” a new promotional image for the project was revealed. The press release confirmed that The new release date is scheduled for April 13 in Japanand announced details about the theme songs, including:
- The band SSGIRLS will perform the opening theme titled “Follow Your Arrows“, with Kana Sasakura (Yori Asanagi’s singing voice) as vocalist. While Hana Shimano will perform the closing theme titled “Gifty“.
It should be noted that this project had its premiere scheduled for the season of Winter-2024 (January-March)but the production did not explain the reason for the changes in both the staff and the schedule, and only limited itself to apologizing for the inconvenience that these decisions caused to the fans.

Synopsis of Whisper Me a Love Song
Yori Asanagi is a mature girl in many ways, but she is still pure when it comes to romance. This feeling is demonstrated when a first-year student, Himari Kino, suddenly confesses his love for her after her band’s performance at the opening ceremony. Confused and surprised, Yori asks her friends for advice, but they mock her by telling her that she is experiencing her love. Yori soon makes up her mind and tries to reciprocate Himari’s feelings, but in a turn of events, she realizes that what Himari loved was not her, but her music!
Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau revolves around the relationship between Yori and Himari. As Yori continues to pursue her love for Himari, he vows to make Himari fall in love with her. However, will this passionate love blossom or remain unrequited?
