A press release announced that the light novels written by Kagekinoko“The Healer Who was Banished From His Party is Actually the Strongest (Party kara Tsuihou sareta Sono Chiyushi, Jitsu wa Saikyou ni Tsuki)”, will have an anime adaptation that will be released this year in Japan. The statement also revealed the voice cast and production team for this project.
Kagekinoko the publication of the story through the service began Shousetsuka ni Narou in May 2018, and the publisher Futabasha began its publication on paper with illustrations of Kakao Lanthanum in January 2020, although it has been suspended since August 2020. A manga adaptation by Miwa Narumi is published through the magazine Gaugau Monster since February 2020. In fact, the anime adaptation is based on this version because it is the only one that is currently active.

Synopsis of The Healer Who was Banished From His Party is Actually the Strongest
A healer is kicked out of his group because the leader realizes that he is not contributing much to the team. Soon, the healer is forced to look for new group mates. After finding a handsome martial artist to work with, he reveals his secret: although he is a fairly mediocre healer, he actually fights well in hand-to-hand combat. This is the story of a support who is secretly a DPS, and where the entire conflict stems from the fact that he never told his former group that he was a DPS.
