Today, again, we meet to perform a new analysis using the popular tool Google Trends. As a reminder, this tool provides us with information about the popularity of search terms in the Google engine around the world. On this occasion, we will focus on examining which Latin American countries showed the greatest interest in searching for hentai throughout the year 2023.
When starting, Google Trends presents us with a graph titled “Interest Over Time“, which indicates the variations in the volume of hentai searches compared to the maximum recorded during the period. In the year 2023, it was observed that the highest volume of searches was recorded in the week of July 23 to 29. It is relevant to highlight that interest remained constant throughout the year, since the volume never fell below 75 percent of the total, evidencing sustained interest in this content.
However, the focus of our analysis does not lie on the global popularity of hentai, but rather in identifying which Latin American countries registered the greatest number of searches for animated content for adults. Excluding all other countries, the ranking for Latin America (including Spain) during the year 2023 would be as follows:
