The production for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Takahiro and illustrated by Youhei Takemura, Mato Seihei no Slave (Slave of the Magic Capital’s Elite Troops), revealed a new trailer for the project. The premiere is scheduled for January 4, 2024 in Japanwhile Seven Arcs studios are in charge of animation.
Takahiro (who is also the author of the hit franchise Akame ga Kill!) and Takemura began publishing the manga through the service Shonen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueisha in January 2019. The publisher published the eleventh compilation volume in September 2022, followed by the twelfth in January 2023 in Japan.

- Hiroyuki Yoshii (Boku no Hero Academia, Steins;Gate, Bakemonogatari) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
- Kouta Yamamoto (86: Eighty Six, Bubble, Shingeki no Kyojin) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.
Synopsis of Mato Seihei no Slave
When entrances to a different dimension known as the “Mato” spring up across Japan, a new resource known as “Peaches” is discovered that grants unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called “Yomotsu Shuuki” also roam the Mato and are responsible for several disasters since then. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-Demon Corps, an elite group of women who have been empowered by the Peaches.
One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was walking home from school when he suddenly got lost in a Mato entrance. When he calls for help, he is immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the head of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps. Recognizing his potential and also needing it to make his Peaches power more effective, he asks Yuuki to join the Anti-Demon Corps by becoming his slave, a position he might find more enjoyable than he would have initially thought. …
