After the broadcast of the final episode of the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kouji Seo, Megami no Café Terrace (The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses), the production of a second season of the project was announced. The press release confirmed that this second season will premiere in 2024 in Japan.
Kouji Seo began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from the publisher kodansha in February 2021. Kouji Seo is also the author of other popular works that have already inspired anime adaptations, including Fuuka, Kimi no Iru Machi (A Town Where You Live), and suzukito mention a few.

- Satoshi Kuwahara (5-toubun no Hanayome, Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu, Kanojo mo Kanojo) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios Tezuka Productions.
- keiichirou oochi (5-toubun no Hanayome, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru, Kanojo mo Kanojo) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Masatsune Noguchi (My Home Hero, Hakushon Daimaou 2020) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
- miki sakurai (5-toubun no Hanayome, Kanojo mo Kanojo, Adachi to Shimamura) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.
Synopsis for Megami no Café Terrace
Hayato Kasukabe has been accepted into the University of Tokyo on his first attempt. Upon receiving the news of his grandmother’s death, he returns to his childhood home, the Café Terrace Familia, for the first time in three years to find there five strange girls claiming to be “grandma’s family.” . Hayato’s unexpected life in a seaside town with these five girls of fate begins here!
