On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Nazuna Miki and illustrated by subachi, My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill of Saikyou desu), the first full promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for next July in Japanand shows a fragment of the closing theme titled “Tamborine no Naru Oka” and performed by Airi Miyakawa.
More members of the voice cast were also announced, including:

- Mai Fuchigami like Erza Monsoon.
Nazuna and Subachi began publishing the light novels in September 2017 through the publisher. kodanshawhile Mawata is in charge of a manga adaptation that is published on the service Suiyoubi no Sirius since May 2018.

- Takeyuki Yanase (Leadale no Daichi nite, Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko, Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios Maho Film.
- Yuka Yamada (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon, Kuroshitsuji, Musaigen no Phantom World) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Miyako Nishida (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni), eri kojima (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru), Kaho Deguchi (Leadale no Daichi nite) and yuko ooba (Akuyaku Reijou nano from Last Boss wo Kattemimashita) are in charge of character design and animation direction.

Ryouta Satou, who died from overwork in a black company, was reincarnated in another world. Although Ryouta was alive, he now had the drawback that his level was set to 1 in this new world.
