The leaks have finally been revealed Chapter 395 from the manga of Kohei Horikoshi, Boku no Hero Academiawhich continues with the showdown between Himiko Toga and Ochako Uraraka that had viewers excited for the upcoming developments. Let’s remember that the chapter will be officially published on July 24 in Japan, so we recommend you be considerate of those who prefer to wait for the official publication.
Many agree that the author Kohei Horikoshi has a problem with female characters, pointing out that on more than one occasion he simply relegates the girls to a secondary position and doesn’t allow them to participate in the big fights. In fact, many of the great heroines in Boku no Hero Academia, such as Star and Stripe and Nana Shimura, were, in the opinion of some fans, turned into supporting women, fulfilling a more “motherly” than “heroic” role.
Anyway, in the chapter before this one, Ochako had awakened the latent ability of her quirk and faced the so-called “Toga Legion” to keep everyone safe. Despite being stabbed by the latter, she managed to converse with Himiko Toga, hug her and help her overcome her trauma, allowing all of the Twice clones to finally disappear. And so we come to this new installment, entitled “What Lies Beyond Happiness”, which has left readers speechless.
Following the disappearance of all the clones, Himiko Toga declares that wielding her knife, which allows her to transform into the people she loves, was a mistake. Next to a mortally wounded Ochako Uraraka, Toga realizes the heroic attitude of the latter, who ignored her own injuries to get everyone to safety. In fact, Toga herself is severely injured from the use of her quirk, noticing all the people she hurt using it.
He then states that although he believed in the League of Villains’ philosophy, he preferred to give priority to Ochako Uraraka’s words. Thus, Toga makes the decision to become Ochako one last time, with the aim of giving her all his blood and saving her. As Ochako feels her body heal, she realizes the situation and begs Toga to stop, to no avail.
At the close of this chapter, Toga and Ochako lie on the battlefield next to each other, both unconscious. These leaks don’t make it clear if Toga dies, but since that was her plan and Ochako didn’t have the strength to stop her, that seems like the most logical conclusion.
