A press release announced that the spinoff manga written and illustrated by namori, Oomuro-ke (Ohmuro Family), will be adapted into a two-part anime film titled “Dear Sisters” and “Dear Friends“, whose premiere is scheduled for the year 2024 in Japan. This is a spin-off of the popular franchise of yuru yurispecifically focused on Sakurako and her family.
On the other hand, the press release also included production details, which highlight the direction of Naoyuki Tatsuwa and the animation production of the popular studios passion In collaboration with studio lingsa duo that previously worked in Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu! (Yuri is My Job!).
Besides, namori Manga publication started yuru yuri in the magazine Comic Yuri Hime from the publisher ichijinsha in June 2008. The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios Doga Kobo and premiered in July 2011. A twelve-episode second season premiered in July 2012, followed by an OVA in November 2014, a twelve-episode third season in October 2015, and more OVAs to follow.

Synopsis of Yuru Yuri
Right after starting high school, Akari Akaza joins the Fun Club, made up solely of her two childhood friends, Kyouko Toshinou and Yui Funami. Chinatsu Yoshikawa, Akaza’s classmate, becomes a member after learning of the Tea Club’s disbandment. The Fun Club, located on the premises of the tea room since it was disbanded, has no clear purpose, being free for the girls to do whatever they want.
