A press release listed that the popular video game developed by Arc System Works“Guilty Gear Strive“, will have an anime adaptation titled “Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers“. The statement listed production details and confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for the season of Spring-2025 (April-June) in Japan.
For its part, the original video game was released in June 2021 for consoles PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Windowsand later to Xbox One, Xbox Series and nintendo switch. This is the seventh installment in chronological order of the “Guilty Gear“, but it is the twenty-fifth installment overall of the saga. In general, “Guilty Gear Strive” received positive reviews praising its visual style, gameplay mechanics, and netcode, and has sold over 3 million copies as of July 2024.
