After the broadcast of the final episode, the production of a second season was announced for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Keiso and illustrated by Kureta“Ishura“. The statement did not reveal any scheduled release date, so we will have to wait for more information.
Keiso began publishing the novels through the service Shousetsuka ni Narou in June 2017, and they are still in publication. The editorial Kadokawa began its publication on paper with illustrations of Kureta in September 2019. A manga adaptation by Meguri is published in the magazine Monthly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in March 2021.

- Yuki Ogawa (Mieruko-chan, Ishuzoku Reviewers, Hajimete no Gal) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios Passion.
- Kenta Ihara (Death Parade, Vinland Saga, Youjo Senki) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Youko Kikuchi (Kuroko no basket, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu) and Yuka Takashina (Plunderer, Oda Nobuna no Yabou, Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.) are in charge of character design and animation direction.
- Masahiro Tokuda (Platinum End, Deca-Dence, King’s Raid: Ishi wo Tsugumono-tachi) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.
Ishura Synopsis
