On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Hiroshi Noda and illustrated by Takahiro Wakamatsu“Isekai Shikkaku (No Longer Allowed In Another World),” a new promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere has been scheduled for the season of Summer-2024 (July-September) in Japan, and announces production details and voice cast.
Noda and Wakamatsu began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits from the publisher Shogakukan in October 2019. The creative duo is also the author of the manga “Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de (Love After World Domination)”, which is published in the magazine Monthly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha since October 2019, and which inspired an anime adaptation produced by Project No.9 studios and broadcast in the season of Spring-2022 (April-June).

Synopsis of Isekai Shikkaku
An adventure in another world with pretty girls by your side and video game-like powers…sounds like an anime fan’s dream, right? But it is not for the melancholic author Osamu Dazai, who would rather literally drop dead. Video games haven’t been invented yet when he finds himself dragged into another world in 1948. In reality, all the fantastical adventures he encounters only get in the way of his poetic dream of finding the perfect place to die. But no matter how much he risks his neck, everything still seems to work out. Follow a miserable hero like no other in this cheerful and dark isekai comedy.
