On January 17, 2022, two years ago, the second episode of “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling)” titled as “Wanna Hurry Up, and Do It?“. In this episode, Kitagawa explains his desire to dress up as Shizuku, a character from an erotic video game. For this, an anxious Kitagawa shows up at Gojo’s home waiting for him to take her body measurements. Although she would have to be naked for this, she actually shows up in a rather revealing swimsuit, and the measuring session takes place in Gojo’s room.
This entire episode, especially the measuring session with Marin Kitagawa, became incredibly viral on social networks. In fact, it is considered to have “broken the Internet,” an expression used to refer to moments that had such an impact that they are still remembered today. The scene was enveloped in an air of sexual tension so dense that it even inspired thousands of erotic artists to focus their work on this moment.
Even the animation of Marin Kitagawa by CloverWorks was “perfect” to make the scene even more viral. The studio’s animators put a lot of emphasis on reflecting the movement of Marin’s breasts in each of her movements, something that fans appreciated at the time. While “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling)” has many memorable moments, the second episode was ultimately the one that attracted many viewers to watch this series.

For its part, Shinichi Fukuda publish the manga in the magazine Young Gangan from the publisher square enix since January 2018. A sequel project for the anime adaptation is in production.
