On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Kurokata and illustrated by KeG, The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic (Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata), the second promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that The premiere is scheduled for January 5, 2024 in Japanand shows fragments of the musical themes that include:
- The band Waterweed will perform the opening theme titled “Cure,” while ChouCho will perform the closing theme titled “Green Jade.”
New voice cast members were also announced, including:
- Queen Ueda as Princess Celia, princess of the Llinger Kingdom.
- Shohei Komatsu as Aruku, a knight of the Llinger Kingdom.
- Hitomi Ueda as Amilia, commander of the Demon King’s third army.
- Wataru Hatano as Hyriluk, a researcher in the Demon King’s army.
The novels began to be published in 2014 in web format on the site Shousetsuka ni Narou. From 2016 to 2020, the physical formats of the novels were published by the label. Media Factory from the publisher Kadokawa, with a total of twelve volumes. The novels have been adapted to manga since 2017, which is published in the magazine Comp Ace.

Synopsis of The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic
Ken Usato is a normal high school student in every sense of the word: average grades, dreams, and a tendency to dislike extraordinary people. However, when he meets the president and vice president of the student council, both popular and extraordinary, he quickly becomes friends with them. All of this is interrupted when Ken’s new friends are summoned to another world… and he is accidentally summoned too!
Dejected and with no way to return, he resigns himself to staying quietly in the new world… until he discovers that he has an affinity for healing magic, a very rare form of magic that gives him self-confidence and the attention of all wizards. However, not all attention is good, something Ken realizes when a crazy fellow healing magic user notices him…
