A press release announced the production of an anime adaptation of the light novels written by Shinogi Kazanami and illustrated by Makai no Juumin, The New Gate, whose premiere will be sometime in 2024 in Japan. The statement revealed the production details and the voice cast in charge of this project.
Shinogi Kazanami the publication of the story began through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2013, and the publisher AlphaPolis began its publication in paper with illustrations of Makai no Juunin in December 2013. A manga adaptation by the hand of Yoshiyuki Miwa is published through the service AlphaPolis Web Manga since November 2014.
