The end of Kanojo, Okarishimasu has already been decided

Through his official Twitter account, the author Reiji Miyajima stated that the final chapter of the manga “Kanojo, Okarishimasu (Rent A Girlfriend)” It’s already decided. It should be noted that the term the author used, “Saishuukan (最終回)“, could also refer to “final part or last arc“, but because he did not give more details, nothing can be assured about it.

The author did not give any clue regarding the conclusion of this work, not even if it is near or far in time. However, it is important to note that this is the second year in a row that the author has made this exact same publication. In October 2022, Reiji Miyajima shared the exact same image and message. Could he be lying and only mentioning “the ending” to make the franchise relevant?

Reiji Miyajima The publication of the manga began through the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in July 2017. The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios TMS Entertainmentunder the direction of Kazuomi Koga and scripts written by Mitsutaka Hirotapremiered in July 2020, followed by a second season in July 2022 and a third season in July 2023. Together, the three seasons have totaled thirty-six episodes.
