On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma“Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha (The Misfit of Demon King Academy)”, a new promotional video was revealed for the second part of the second season of the project. The video confirms that The premiere has been scheduled for April 12 in Japanand shows a fragment of the new opening theme titled “Maou” and performed by BURNOUT SYNDROMES.
The statement also revealed new members of the voice cast, including:
- Nao Touyama like Arcana.
- Toshihiko Seki like Ahide.
- Aoi Yuuki like Miritia.
For its part, the first season premiered during the season of Summer-2020 (July-September) in Japan and had a total of thirteen episodes, followed by the first part of the second season in Winter-2023 (January-March). Shu began publishing the novels in the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in April 2017, and then through label Dengeki Bunko from the publisher Kadokawa in March 2018, with illustrations by Yoshinori Shizuma.

Synopsis of Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha 2nd Season
When peace returns to the demon realm, Anos Voldigoad wants nothing more than to leave behind his reputation as the Demon King of Tyranny and return to being a misfit at the prestigious Demon King Academy. Unfortunately, any tranquility is short-lived: sinister demons, kings and deities plot Anos’ disappearance from the shadows.
