A press release announced that the manga written and illustrated by Taiga Miyakawa“Tasuuketsu“, will have an anime adaptation that will be released sometime this year in Japan. The statement revealed the voice cast and production team for this project.
Taiga Miyakawa He began publishing the manga in 2013 and ended it in 2014. He later published the second part, “Tasuuketsu: FINAL KEQ“, between 2015 and 2017, and the third part, “Tasuuketsu: Judgment Assizes“, since November 2017. The work already inspired an animated short produced through a financing campaign in 2020, although this new adaptation is completely different.

Synopsis of Tasuuketsu
The manga’s story follows a group of five people in a world where people have suddenly disappeared. A mysterious self-proclaimed “Emperor” gathers five people through anonymous messages and makes them participate in a game. Participants answer the question “Do you want to live or die?” The game has only one rule: “The majority dies.”
