Shingeki no Kyojin concert causes outrage in China

In a surprising turn of events, a music concert by “Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)” in China proved to be so disappointing that the public began demanding refunds before it concluded. The situation became even more worrying for the Japanese, who questioned whether the concert even had an official license.

At the beginning of the event, the audience remained silent, but criticism quickly began to arise as people expressed their discontent with the low quality of the concert. Even after the concert ended, the angry crowd continued to demand refunds.

People in Japan who heard about the incident questioned whether the concert had official authenticity and whether the video projected in the background had been obtained legally, considering the situation in China. Some speculated that since the instruments were not even tuned, it could be an amateur concert.

Although some laughed calling it another example of ‘Made in China’, others praised the audience for standing up for their rights. This incident raises serious questions about the quality and legitimacy of popular culture events in China.generating concern among fans and observers:

  • «Well, they got an experience of the same quality as Shingeki no Kyojin. I don’t know what they are complaining about».
  • «I’ve seen more competent high school musical productions than this (which is saying something, given the poor state of American schools). I think it’s a case of “what’s the cheapest price we can get?” People who attended this event should investigate the background of the performers to see if they are even professional musicians.».
  • «Seeing as there were only a few “musicians”, it should be obvious that they couldn’t perform on a large scale (well, depending on experience, but these weren’t even amateurs). But that doesn’t change the fact that this was a concert for which people paid money, obviously expecting something (at least) good. Official or not, it doesn’t matter. If it had been free, the story would have been different, but it wasn’t free. So of course people are going to be angry».
  • «At least they didn’t pay to be eaten or torn to pieces.».
  • «I guess the outrage depends on how much they charged for tickets.».
  • «Haha, the audacity to hold a “concert” with random people grabbed from the street, clearly less than 6 months old playing their own instruments».
