Just yesterday we mentioned that November 4th in Japan is considered the “Good Butt Day“, based on the pronunciation of the date that results in a “Ii Oshi” (04/11) and to which the syllable “-ri” to convert it to “Ii Oshiri no Hi” either “Good Butt Day“. However, no one expected that a franchise would take matters into its own hands and turn this date into its own: Oshi no Ko.
Without adding any syllables, the date remains as “Ii Oshi no Hi”, something that translates as “Day of Good Support”. (“-oshi” is a word used to define the unconditional support of fans towards an artist) and that matches the name of the franchise. For this reason, while the second season continues in production (fortunately they are taking the time necessary to produce it), The staff decided to celebrate what is now also known as “Oshi no Ko Day” with fourteen illustrations made by the staff..

The first season premiered during the season of Spring-2023 (April-June) in Japan and had a total of eleven episodes, while the platform HIDIVE is in charge of its distribution in the West. Synopsis of Oshi no Ko
16-year-old girl Ai Hoshino is a talented and beautiful idol who is adored by her fans.
