On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki, Goblin Slayer, a new promotional video was revealed for the second season of the project. The video confirms that The premiere is scheduled for October 6 in Japan.while showing a fragment of the opening theme titled by Milli and titled as “Entertainment“.
Kumo Kagyu and Noboru Kannatsuki They publish the original light novels through the publishing label GA Bunko from the publisher SB Creative since February 2016. On the other hand, the manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is published through the magazine Monthly Big Gangan from the publisher square enix since May 2016.
A twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios WHITE FOXunder the direction of Takaharu Ozaki and scripts written by Hideyuki Kuratawas released in October 2018, followed by a feature film released in February 2020 and titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown.

- Misato Takada (Saiyuuki RELOAD: ZEROIN, Mugen no Juunin: IMMORTAL, Koi to Uso) is in charge of directing this second season in the studios LIDEN FILMSreplacing the director Takaharu Ozaki and the studies WHITE FOX.
- Hideyuki Kurata (Made in Abyss, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, Grisaia no Kajitsu) returns to take charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Hiromi Katou (Guilty Crown, Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, Monster Musume no Oisha-san) is in charge of character design and animation direction, replacing Takashi Nagayoshi.
- Kenichirou Suehiro (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Enen no Shouboutai, Darwin’s Game) returns to be in charge of composing the soundtrack.
Goblin Slayer Synopsis
Goblins are known for their ferocity, cunning, and rapid reproduction, but their reputation as the lowest of monsters means their threat is overlooked. Raiding rural civilizations to kidnap females of other species for breeding, these vile creatures are free to continue their attack while adventurers turn a blind eye in favor of more rewarding tasks with greater rewards. To commemorate her first day as a China-ranked adventurer, the 15-year-old Priestess joins a group of young, enthusiastic rookies to investigate a tribe of goblins responsible for the disappearance of several village women. Unprepared and inexperienced, the group soon faces their inevitable demise due to an ambush while exploring a cave.
With no one else left standing, the terrified Priestess accepts her fate – until the Goblin Slayer unexpectedly appears to not only rescue her with little effort, but to destroy the entire goblin nest. As a holder of the prestigious Silver rank, the Goblin Slayer allows her to accompany him while she assists the Adventurer’s Guild in all matters related to goblins. Along with the Priestess, the High Elf, the Dwarf, and the Lizardman, the armored warrior will not rest until all goblins in the borderlands have been eradicated forever.
