A mother continued buying sleeves for her deceased son

Today we return to a story that touched the hearts of Miles in 2018. In the prefecture of Miyagi, Yuko Tanno, a mother who is not a manga fan, continued to buy the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump Every week for seven years, after losing his son Kota in the great earthquake of Japan of 2011. Kota, who was only 13 years old at the time of his death, was a big fan of the magazine and sleeves such as “One Piece” and “Haikyu !!”. Since then Yuko kept alive the tradition that his son loved, buying each new edition for him in the hope that, if he had been alive, he would have continued enjoying these stories.

When his son died, Yuko placed copies of the Weekly Shonen Jump in his coffin and the family altar. Then he realized that he could not throw them away, as he had done before with Kota's sleeves. Therefore, he continued buying the magazine every week, even when he could not find it in nearby stores. In spite of everything, the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine collection began to accumulate and, at the time the news went viral, it had already accumulated more than 350 editions.

In 2018, the year in which his news became a trend, Kota had turned 20, which at that time was the legal age of a majority in Japan (Before he was reduced to 18 years later)Yuko decided that this would be the year in which he completed the collection of Weekly Shonen Jump editions for his son (since some editions were missing and had to ask them separately or buy second -hand), in a symbolic act that represented his eternal love and the desire to keep his memory alive.

And of course, the situation did not go unnoticed in the comments forums:
