On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Mato Kousaka and illustrated by Gaou“I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time (Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu)”, the first promotional visual of the project was revealed. The press release confirmed the production details, revealing that CloverWorks is in charge of this adaptation project, and ready premiering sometime this year in Japan.
Mato Kousaka The publication of the light novels began through the publishing label Dengeki Bunko of Kadokawa in March 2021. Additionally, Suzu Yuuki is responsible for publishing a manga adaptation through the magazine Monthly Comic Dengeki Maoh from the publisher Kadokawa in August 2021, where it is still in serialization.

- Rie Takahashi will play the protagonist Alina Clover.
- Tsuyoshi Nagasawa (To LOVE-Ru, Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san, Keijo!!!!!!!!) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios CloverWorks.
- Misuzu Chiba (Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Aikatsu Planet!) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Shinichi Machida (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken, Kimi wo Aishita Hitori no Boku e, Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven: Pocket ga Niji de Ippai) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
Synopsis of I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time
Alina Clover signed up as a receptionist for the Adventurer’s Guild thinking it would be her ticket to the good life: stable pay, regular hours, and safe working conditions. Unfortunately, her dream job turns into a nightmare of endless paperwork and overtime every time the adventurers she helps coordinate get stuck clearing a dungeon. But people aren’t made to work forever, so Alina sneaks out at night to beat up the monsters that prevent her, courtesy of her massive warhammer.
Keeping all of this a secret to avoid violating her office’s ban on second jobs is difficult, especially when stories of her exploits begin to spread, but Alina somehow manages to keep her identity safe… until the Leader of the strongest group in the guild surprises her by defeating a boss one fateful night! Will Alina have what it takes to prevent her life from being turned upside down?
