On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Ryou Shirakome and illustrated by Takaya Ki“Arifureta Shokugyou from Sekai Saikyou (Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest)”, a new promotional video was revealed for the third season of the project. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for the season of Fall-2024 (October-December) in Japan.
The second season premiered during the season of Winter-2022 (January-March) and had a total of twelve episodes (plus an OVA on the first Blu-ray). For its part, Ryou Shirakome publishes these light novels with illustrations by Takayaki through the publisher OVERLAP since June 2015. The first season was produced by the studios WHITE FOXhad thirteen episodes and aired in July 2019.

- Akira Iwanaga (Tegami Bachi, Fukigen na Mononokean) was in charge of directing the second season at the studios Asread In collaboration with Studio Motherleaving out the studies WHITE FOX of this production and replacing Kinji Yoshimotowho directed the first season.
- Shoichi Sato (Corpse Party: Tortured Souls, Minami-ke: Okawari, Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight) was in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Chika Kojima (Big Order, Shuffle!, Mirai Nikki) was in charge of the character design.
Synopsis of Arifureta Shokugyou by Sekai Saikyou
High school student Hajime Nagumo is bullied by his classmates for being a couple with the school idol, Kaori. When he and the rest of the class are transported to a fantasy world, all of his classmates receive powerful magical abilities, while Hajime only gains basic alchemy magic to transmute solid materials, something common for blacksmiths. During a raid on a dungeon, he is betrayed by one of his companions and thrown to the bottom of it. Hajime survives the fall and begins creating weapons to escape the dungeon and become stronger. Along the way, he meets the vampire Yue, and is later joined by the rabbit-eared girl Shea, the perverted dragon Tio, and others.
