The anime adaptation of Solo Leveling has been on a streak breaking records everywhere since its release in January, however, the most recent one is not one to celebrate. Well Its compilation episode (listed as 7.5) has become the most disliked episode in all of Crunchyroll. Counting up to now with a total of more than 64,500 dislikes, while it only has around 30,600 likes. Being practically more than double.
This is understandable, since Solo Leveling will only have a total of 12 episodes and will air right after episode 7. (considered the best episode of the series so far), the vast majority considered it unnecessary and even annoying. Although there were also fearful people who, as in past series of A-1 Pictures, this is an indication of problems in production. Despite this, the series won’t really be affected in a negative way, at least for now.
Recently the CEO of Crunchyroll, Rahul Purinirevealed in a recent podcast that his company presented the manhwa “Solo Leveling” to Aniplex and went essential to bring the anime series to production. «Our team read the manhwa, liked the IP, and so we actually took it to one of our sister partners in Japan – Aniplex – and co-produced the series with them.», said Purini.
